【摘要】:1-1.1Thisstandardshallspecifytheminimumdesign,performance,testing,andcertificationrequirementsforprotectiveclothing,helmets,gloves,andfootwearthataredesignedtoprotectfirefightersagainstadverseenvironmentaleffectsduringwildlandfire-fightingoperations.1-1.2Thisstandardshallspecifytheminimumdesignandcertificationrequirementsforfiresheltersthataredesignedtoprotectfirefightersagainstadverseenvironmentaleffectsduringwildlandfire-fightingoperations.1-1.3Thisstandardshallapplytodesign,manufacturing,andcertificationofnewprotectiveclothingandequipment.Thisstandardshallnotapplytowildlandprotectiveclothing,equipment,andfiresheltersmanufacturedtopreviouseditionsofNFPA1977.1-1.4*Thisstandardshallnotapplytoeyeorrespiratoryprotectionforwildlandfire-fightingoperationsandshallnotapplytoprotectionfromstructural,proximity,approach,orentryfire-fightingoperations,norfromhazardousmaterialsemergencyoperations.Thisstandardshallnotapplytoprotectionfromradiologicalorbiologicalagents.1-1.5Therequirementsofthisstandardshallnotapplytoaccessoriesthatmightbeattachedtoanyitemofthewildlandfire-fightingprotectiveclothingorequipmentunlessspecificallyaddressedherein.1-1.6Certificationofwildlandfire-fightingprotectiveclothingandequipmenttotherequirementsofthisstandardshallnotprecludecertificationtoadditionalappropriatestandardswheretheprotectiveclothingorequipmentmeetallapplicablerequirementsofeachstandard.1-1.7Nothinghereinshallbeconstruedtorestrictanyjurisdictionormanufacturerfromexceedingtheseminimumrequirements.
