【摘要】:1GeneralStandardsofEN50083seriesdealwithcablenetworksfortelevisionsignals,soundsignalsandinteractiveservicesincludingequipment,systemsandinstallations-forheadend-reception,processinganddistributionoftelevisionandsoundsignalsandtheirassociateddatasignals,and-forprocessing,interfacingandtransmittingallkindsofsignalsforinteractiveservicesusingallapplicabletransmissionmedia.Allkindsofnetworkslike-CATV-networks-MATV-networksandSMATV-networks-individualreceivingnetworksandallkindsofequipment,systemsandinstallationsinstalledinsuchnetworks,arewithinthisscope.Theextentofthesestandardisationworkisfromtheantennas,specialsignalsourceinputstotheheadendorotherinterfacepointstothenetworkuptothesystemoutletortheterminalinput,wherenosystemoutletexists.Thestandardisationofanyuserterminals(i.e.tuners,receivers,decoders,multimediaterminalsetc.)aswellasofanycoaxialandopticalcablesandaccessoriesthereforisexcluded.2Specificscopeofthispart10Thisstandardisdealingwiththetransparentreturnpathofcablenetworksoperatedinthefrequencyrangebetween5MHzand65MHzorpartsthereof.Higherfrequenciesmaybeusedinfibrebasednetworks.NOTEInadditionitispossibletousethefrequencyrangefrom0MHzto5MHzforreturnpathtransmissions,e.g.forNMSorothercontrol,monitoringandsignallingpurposes.Applicationsbelow5MHzarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Anactivereturnpathcarriestypicallyonlyreturnsignals.Apassivereturnpathcanbeusedforbothreturnandforwardsignals.Thisstandardlaysdownthebasicmethodsofmeasurementforsignalstypicallyusedinthereturnpathofcablenetworksinordertoassesstheperformanceofthosesignalsandtheirperformancelimits.Allrequirementsrefertotheperformancelimitswhichshallbeobtainedbetweenthereferencepoints(Figure1)ofthereturnpathsystem.Onereferencepointisthenetworkterminationclosetothesubscriber.Itisthelastpointwhereallforwardandreturnsignalsarepresentandcarriedonthesamecable.Ifnonetworkterminationpointexists,thereferencepointisthesystemoutlet.Theotherreferencepointistheinputofthereturnsignalreceiver(ortransceiver).Atthispointthetransparentsignalpathendsandbehindthispointthesignalistreatedinanon-transparentway.Thereturnsignalreceivercanbesituatedattheheadendbutcanalsobeatthenodeofthecoaxialcelloratanyotherpointofthenetwork.Inadditiontothesystemperformancerequirementsforthetransparentreturnpath,systemperformancerecommendationswerelaiddowninthisstandarde.g.fortheoverallfrequencyallocation,fortheuseofspecificmodulationtechniquesfordifferentinteractivemultimediaservicesorfordifferentsub-bandswithinthereturnpathfrequencyrange,etc.Specificequipmentinstalledincablenetworksfortheoperationofsuchreturnpathsisstandardisedintherelevantequipmentstandards,parts3to6oftheEN50083series.Transmissionsystemsarenotwithinthescopeofthisstandard.
